Hand Embroidered Sun & Moon Shirt | One-of-a-Kind Celestial Wearable Art

A one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art, embroidered by hand in our Brighton studio.

This beautifully worn-in blue preloved shirt has been transformed with a pair of celestial sun and moon motifs, individually free-motion embroidered across the chest.

On one side, a golden yellow sun with warm orange rays; on the other, a crescent moon picked out in cream and deep blue. Both feature wonderfully characterful faces inspired by vintage celestial illustrations and folk art.

Each design is drawn and embroidered individually by me using free-motion machine embroidery, giving the stitching its own unique character — no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

The relaxed, workwear-style shirt has two chest pockets, long sleeves and a beautifully faded blue finish. Wear it buttoned up as a shirt or open over a tee as a lightweight jacket.
